IYRS has two facilities in Rhode Island. Our main campus and adminstrative offices are located at 449 Thames Street in Newport. Our Bristol facility, which houses our Marine Systems and Composites Techology programs is located at 253 Franklin Street in Bristol.

From Connecticut, New York and points South/West:
North on I-95 into Rhode Island
Take exit 3A - RTE 138 East
Follow all signs to Newport
Cross the two bridges
Take Scenic/Downtown Newport exit at end of the 2nd bridge
Turn right off exit onto Farewell Street
Turn right at 2nd signal light onto America's Cup Avenue
Turn right at 7th signal light onto Thames Street
Continue down Thames Street about 1/3 of a mile
IYRS is on the right at 449 Thames Street.
From Boston and points North:
South on RTE 93 to RTE 128 to RTE 24 to RTE 138
Left exit onto RTE 138A (Newport Beaches)
Note: past beaches, 138A is Memorial Boulevard
Turn left at signal light/harbor onto Thames Street
Continue down Thames Street about 1/3 of a mile
IYRS is on the right at 449 Thames Street.
From Providence/Airport and points West:
I-95 South, to RTE 4 (left exit) to RTE 138 East (follow signs for Newport)
Cross the two bridges
Take Scenic/Downtown Newport exit at end of the 2nd bridge
Turn right off exit onto Farewell Street
Turn right at 2nd signal light onto America's Cup Avenue
Turn right at 7th signal light onto Thames Street
Continue down Thames Street about 1/3 of a mile

I-95 North, to I-195 East in Providence
Take Exit 2, RTE 136 South towards Warren, RI/US 6 E/Newport, RI
Merge onto RTE 136 and follow it for 6.9 miles. It will become Metacom Avenue.
Turn right onto Franklin Street. The IYRS Bristol Campus is .4 miles on your right at 253 Franklin Street.
From Boston and points North:
South on RTE 93 to RTE 128 to RTE 24
Take Exit 2 toward Bristol/Mt. Hope Bridge
Follow RTE 114 over Mt. Hope Bridge
Stay to right after crossing bridge onto Metacom Avenue
After 1.9 miles, turn left onto Franklin Street. The IYRS Bristol Campus is .4 miles on your right at 253 Franklin Street.
