The school buildings and marina are located at 449 Thames Street in Newport, Rhode Island. Our administrative offices are across the street at 458 Thames Street.

Directions to IYRS

From Connecticut, New York and points South/West:
North on I-95 into Rhode Island
Take exit 3A - RTE 138 East
Follow all signs to Newport
Cross the two bridges
Take Scenic/Downtown Newport exit at end of the 2nd bridge
Turn right off exit onto Farewell Street
Turn right at 2nd signal light onto America's Cup Avenue
Turn right at 7th signal light onto Thames Street
Continue down Thames Street about 1/3 of a mile
IYRS is on the right at 449 Thames Street. Administrative offices are across the street at 458 Thames.

From Boston and points North:
South on RTE 93 to RTE 128 to RTE 24 to RTE 138
Left exit onto RTE 138A (Newport Beaches)
Note: past beaches, 138A is Memorial Boulevard
Turn left at signal light/harbor onto Thames Street
Continue down Thames Street about 1/3 of a mile
IYRS is on the right at 449 Thames Street. Administrative offices are across the street at 458 Thames.

From Providence/Airport and points West:
I-95 South, to RTE 4 (left exit) to RTE 138 East (follow signs for Newport)
Cross the two bridges
