Financial Aid
We understand that an IYRS education is a significant financial commitment and applying for financial aid can be complex and confusing process. There are a number of sources of financial aid available to those who qualify. We are here to help you through the process and make your education goals a reality. Sources of Financial Aid
There are a number of school grant programs available in the U.S. The main federal grant program is the Federal Pell Grant Program. In addition there are other grant sources including state grants in your state of residence, and scholarships awarded by IYRS and private foundations and organizations.

VA Benefits for Eligible Veterans
IYRS is approved to certify educational benefits for eligible veterans, including the Post-9/11 and the Montgomery G.I. Bills and veterans’ vocational rehabilitation programs. Learn More.
Student Eligibility
To receive Federal Financial Aid, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Have financial need, except for some loan programs
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student working towards a degree or certificate
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Have a valid Social Security Number
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
