Lodging Information
Many types of lodging accommodations are available for you and your family at many establishments whether you are taking a class at our Newport or Bristol campuses. Please email info@iyrs.org to request a list of lodging accommodations to help plan your trip to IYRS. Many of these establishments offer a preferred rate to guests attending a class at IYRS. Complimentary Crew Level Membership
Each person that registers for a Continuing Education Course during the 2009 season will receive a complimentary IYRS/MOY Crew Membership (a $55 value), which includes free admission to the Museum, valid for 1 year from the time of registration. Please click here to view member benefits.
Member Discount
IYRS and Museum of Yachting members with a Dual Membership Level ($100) or above can receive a 10% discount on most courses. Log on to www.iyrs.org for more detail, updates and new additions and to register. Or contact John Freer at 401-848-5777 x203; email: jfreer@iyrs.org.
Terms and Conditions
Upon receiving full payment, IYRS will send you a receipt that will serve as confirmation of registration. Registration will be taken up to 7 days prior to the start date of each course. Anyone wishing to register for a course within 7 days of the start date will be placed on a waiting list in the event of a cancellation. There is a $25 processing fee if you withdraw any time up to 7 days prior to the course. After that, we cannot refund any money. IYRS reserves the right to cancel a course at any time due to lack of enrollment or unforeseen circumstances and give a full refund. IYRS and Museum of Yachting members at the Dual membership level ($100) or above can receive a 10% discount on most courses. IYRS students and alumni are entitled to a 20% discount on most classes.
