Back in March, cruising along was just a fantasy for the folks on the Chris Craft team.
Once it was clear that this little boat would indeed float,
cruising was ok,
but opening it up was where the real fun was at.
See?
It was the same at the Gar Wood. These are boats made for lounging
Ok, maybe speed lounging.
It's hard to take a picture of this boat that doesn't look like an advertisement:
Walt Ansel looked pretty happy while she cruised around Newport Harbor.
And of course, this boat looks stunning just sitting still.
And while the power boats were all zooming around making noise, the 12 1/2 quietly and happily slipped through the water.
Which just goes to show, you don't need horsepower to kick back and have a great time.
We really could use a sunset here to wind things up.
Ah well… happy sailing all!
Thank you to Warren Barker for all of the photos today!
